THE PROSPEROUS SEED

It is not all seed that leads to blessing and prosperity. When your seed is not prosperous, the problem is not with the seed. It was because of how it was sown.

How do we make our seed to be prosperous?

• Genesis 4 : 3-5 { Gen 4:3 One day, Cain gave part of his harvest to the LORD,

Gen 4:4 and Abel also gave an offering to the LORD. He killed the first-born lamb from one of his sheep and gave the LORD the best parts of it. The LORD was pleased with Abel and his offering,

Gen 4:5 but not with Cain and his offering. This made Cain so angry that he could not hide his feelings. } it is not all seed that God accepts. How then do we sow our seed that it can guarantee us harvest ?

Exodus 25 : 1-2{ Exo 25:1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Exo 25:2 Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring Me an offering. You shall take an offering from every man that gives it willingly with his heart. }

When you are sowing your seed to God, you must sow it willingly. Sow seed from the bottom of your heart. 2 Corinthian 8 : 12{ 2Co 8:12 For if the eagerness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, and not according to what one does not have. } so your offering from a will mind.

• 2 Corinthian 8: 12-14 { 2Co 8:12 For if the eagerness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, and not according to what one does not have.

2Co 8:13 For it is not that others may have ease, but you trouble;

2Co 8:14 but by equality in the present time; your abundance for their need, that their abundance also may be for your need; so that there may be equality; } sow qualitatively. The quality of your seed determines the acceptability.

• 2 Corinthian 9: 7 { 2Co 9:7 Each one, as he purposes in his heart, let him give; not of grief, or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. } Sow your seed cheerfully. sow it with joy.
• Malachi 1 : 6-8{ Mal 1:6 A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If then I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My fear? says Jehovah of Hosts to you, O priests who despise My name. And you say, In what way have we despised Your name?

Mal 1:7 You offer defiled bread upon My altar; and you say, In what way have we defiled You? In your saying, The table of Jehovah, it is a thing to be despised.

Mal 1:8 And if you offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And if you offer the lame and the sick, is it not evil? Bring it now to your governor. Will he accept you, or lift up your face, says Jehovah of Hosts? } Sow honorably.

Luke 1 : 45 { Luk 1:45 The Lord has blessed you because you believed that he will keep his promise. }Believing bring the performer of the blessing that was proclaimed. It takes faith for blessing to be realized. Satan attacks you by showing your negative part.

There is nothing God can do for you outside your faith.

HOW DOES SATAN THROWS ARROWS OF DOUBT TO US?

• He brings negative report. Be careful of the things you hear
• Negative thought. As a man trinket so he is. Avoid negative thought.

PROFITING BY REVELATION

Any revelation that does not produce testimony is not a profitable revelation Isaiah 55:11 { Isa 55:11 That's how it is with my words. They don't return to me without doing everything I send them to do.”}

How do we make our revelation to become manifestation? Hebrew 4:2 {Heb 4:2 we have heard the message, just as they did. But they failed to believe what they heard, and the message did not do them any good. } Faith is what makes revelation to become manifestation. It is faith that empowers the fulfillment of his word. Without faith God cannot do anything. When there is no faith God is handicap. That’s why faith is important in Christian Dom.

How do we mix God’s word with faith?

1. Speak the word 2 Corinthian 4 : 13 { 2Co 4:13 In the Scriptures it says, "I spoke because I had faith." We have that same kind of faith. So we speak} you mix the revelation of God with faith by speaking it. You don’t have to look like the revelation. If you don’t speak it, you don’t believe it. Speak it and declare it.
2. James 2: 20 { Jam 2:22 Now you see how Abraham's faith and deeds worked together. He proved that his faith was real by what he did. } with every revelation there is a demand from you. You are to take steps and act upon what God has told you. God will never do what you can do for you. There are two parts to revelation: God’s part and your own part. You mix revelation with faith by taking steps.
3. 1 timothy 1 :18 { 1Ti 1:18 Timothy, my son, the instructions I am giving you are based on what some prophets once said about you. If you follow these instructions, you will fight like a good soldier. } prophecies are like revelation. that god said something about you doesn’t make the devil to sleep and allow it to happen 1 Corinthian 16:9 { 1Co 16:9 because there is a wonderful opportunity for me to do some work here. But there are also many people who are against me. }

You don’t give up because of adversaries but you war a good warfare.

You fight a good fight of faith by praying a faith loaded prayer. You also wage warfare by taking a bold step. E.g David and goliath.

4. you must cultivate the attitude of rest. You fight the good fight of faith by knowing how to rest in God.

OBSTACLES OF SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION

• 2 Corinthian 3:14 { 2Co 3:14 The people were stubborn, and something still keeps them from seeing the truth when the Law is read. Only Christ can take away the covering that keeps them from seeing. }

2 Corinthian 4 : 3-4 { 2Co 4:3 If there is anything hidden about our message, it is hidden only to someone who is lost.

2Co 4:4 The god who rules this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers. They cannot see the light, which is the good news about our glorious Christ, who shows what God is like. }

The enemy does not want you to read the book { bible} because everything that makes up your life is in the book. As believer Satan has no right and power to blind our minds except we give him place. What the devil does is that he twist you till you give him place unconsciously.

What do we do that give the enemy room to block the light from coming to us? Luke 8: 4-15 { Luk 8:4 When a large crowd from several towns had gathered around Jesus, he told them this story:

Luk 8:5 A farmer went out to scatter seed in a field. While the farmer was doing it, some of the seeds fell along the road and were stepped on or eaten by birds.

Luk 8:6 Other seeds fell on rocky ground and started growing. But the plants did not have enough water and soon dried up.

Luk 8:7 Some other seeds fell where thornbushes grew up and choked the plants.

Luk 8:8 The rest of the seeds fell on good ground where they grew and produced a hundred times as many seeds. When Jesus had finished speaking, he said, "If you have ears, pay attention!"

Luk 8:9 Jesus' disciples asked him what the story meant.

Luk 8:10 So he answered: I have explained the secrets about God's kingdom to you, but for others I can only use stories. These people look, but they don't see, and they hear, but they don't understand.

Luk 8:11 This is what the story means: The seed is God's message,

Luk 8:12 and the seeds that fell along the road are the people who hear the message. But the devil comes and snatches the message out of their hearts, so that they will not believe and be saved.

Luk 8:13 The seeds that fell on rocky ground are the people who gladly hear the message and accept it. But they don't have deep roots, and they believe only for a little while. As soon as life gets hard, they give up.

Luk 8:14 The seeds that fell among the thornbushes are also people who hear the message. But they are so eager for riches and pleasures that they never produce anything.

Luk 8:15 Those seeds that fell on good ground are the people who listen to the message and keep it in good and honest hearts. They last and produce a harvest. } whenever you gain a revelation from the word of God , that is when it can bring forth fruit i.e if you get the revelation , it will bring fruit.

The devil always target those by the way side to take the word from them. Those by the way side are those that lack concentration.

Don’t allow devil to distract you. Distraction is easy when you’re by the way side.

• Hardened heart : before God can do anything in your life , you must change and soften your heart. God doesn’t speak to those whose heart are hardened heart is a stubborn heart. A hardened heart does not consider the act of God. God will never show you is word when you hardened your heart against is word. It doesn’t matter the prophecy that goes out, it will not work for a hardened heart.

Luke 8 : 14 { Luk 8:14 The seeds that fell among the thorn bushes are also people who hear the message. But they are so eager for riches and pleasures that they never produce anything. } it is possible for the riches and pleasure of this life to block the word of God. The pleasure of life will blind your access to the word of God.

What do we have to do if we must be like good ground ?

1. Mathew 11 : 28 -29{ Mat 11:28 If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest.

Mat 11:29 Take the yoke I give you. Put it on your shoulders and learn from me. I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest. } when you are coming to church, come with attitude of a learner

2. Come with an open heart: when your heart is opened , it becomes easier for God to reach you. Anytime you are reading the word of God , be open hearted.

3. learn to work in the word of God, to trust God, commit every step to God. When you begin to trust God to provide your need , you will be able to focus on his word.

THE BIBLE SENSE OF DELIVERANCE

The day of salvation is the day of deliverance .Galatians 5: 1 {Gal 5:1 Christ has set us free! This means we are really free. Now hold on to your freedom and don't ever become slaves of the Law again. }

How does believer get entangled in the yoke of bondage after Christ have set us free?

• john 8:32-34 {Joh 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Joh 8:33 They answered, "We are Abraham's children! We have never been anyone's slaves. How can you say we will be set free?"

Joh 8:34 Jesus replied: I tell you for certain that anyone who sins is a slave of sin! }

Sin is what makes believer entangle to bondage .

Sin gives devil power over you. Sin opens the door for oppression. The remedy to sin is confession. 1 john 1:8-9 { 1Jo 1:8 If we say that we have not sinned, we are fooling ourselves, and the truth isn't in our hearts.

1Jo 1:9 But if we confess our sins to God, he can always be trusted to forgive us and take our sins away. }

Sin makes you vulnerable to satanic attack.

• Fear: Romans 8:15 { Rom 8:15 God's Spirit doesn't make us slaves who are afraid of him. Instead, we become his children and call him our Father. }

Fear put people in bondage. Proverbs 29:25{ Pro 29:25 Don't fall into the trap of being a coward-- trust the LORD, and you will be safe. } Fear is a trap of the devil. For God has not given us the spirit of fear.

How do you handle fear? The opposite of fear is faith and trust in God. Trust and faith in God is the solution for fear. Faith and fear depends on what you focus on

Depression : Is the lack of joy .Deuteronomy 28: 47-48{ Deu 28:47 If the LORD makes you wealthy, but you don't joyfully worship and honor him,

Deu 28:48 he will send enemies to attack you and make you their slaves. Then you will live in poverty with nothing to eat, drink, or wear and your owners will work you to death. } Depression will always lead to oppression. Don’t let what is happening in the world makes you depressed. Anything that targets your joy is targeting you. What is the remedy for depression. In everything give thanks always rejoice in the lord.

ENHANCING YOUR SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION BY PASTOR WOLE SAMUEL

Fasting is one of the way that the lord use to grant us access to the deep things. fasting fine-tune your spirit man in the same frequency to the frequency of God. 1 Corinthian 2: 12,14 {1Co 2:12 But God has given us his Spirit. That's why we don't think the same way that the people of this world think. That's also why we can recognize the blessings that God has given us. 1Co 2:14 That's why only someone who has God's Spirit can understand spiritual blessings. Anyone who doesn't have God's Spirit thinks these blessings are foolish. }

Revelation are spiritual discerned and a natural man cannot understand. Fasting enhanced your spirit, fasting makes your spirit man hypersensitive.

Fasting makes it easier for you to discern spiritual things.

1. praying in the holy ghost Jude 1 : 20{ Jud 1:20 Dear friends, keep building on the foundation of your most holy faith, as the Holy Spirit helps you to pray. }

1 Corinthian 14 : 2 { 1Co 14:2 If you speak languages that others don't know, God will understand what you are saying, though no one else will know what you mean. You will be talking about mysteries that only the Spirit understands. } speak in tongues intensively.

Praise and Worship: Allows you access into his presence Isaiah 12: 3 { Isa 12:3 With great joy, you people will get water from the well of victory. } It takes joy to get inspiration. Take time to praise the lord because it can take care of things you want to pray for.

REQUIREMENT OF SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION

There are requirement to have access to what is in the book. The book is not open for everybody, the book is only open for those that meets the requirement . Many of us don’t know the things we desire.

There are several requirements which include :

1. Salvation: John 3: 3 {Joh 3:3 Jesus replied, "I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God's kingdom!" } until a man is born again he has no access to deep things .
2. 2timothy 2: 19,21{ 2Ti 2:19 But the foundation that God has laid is solid. On it is written, "The Lord knows who his people are. So everyone who worships the Lord must turn away from evil."

2Ti 2:21 That's also how it is with people. The ones who stop doing evil and make themselves pure will become special. Their lives will be holy and pleasing to their Master, and they will be able to do all kinds of good deeds. } It is not enough to be born again, you need to fear God , do what pleases him . God does not show secrete to those who don’t fear him. Your access to spiritual illumination is purity.

3. Psalm 25 : 9 { Psa 25:9 You lead humble people to do what is right and to stay on your path. } meekness means submissiveness. James 1:21 { Jam 1:21 You must stop doing anything immoral or evil. Instead be humble and accept the message that is planted in you to save you. } If you’re not teachable, you are not a candidate to spiritual illumination. Moses knew the way of God because of his meekness. Be submissive, be teachable and God will receive the secrete things to you.
4. It is what you desire that God gives unto you. Spiritual hunger is a requirement of illumination. God desire to give inspiration to those who have a hunger for it.
5. Study: Revelation comes to those who study the word of God. Study means reading and researching the word. It is those that search scripture that find light. Illumination is not for people who are empty of the word of God.

Psalm 119 : 99 { Psa 119:99 Thinking about your teachings gives me better understanding than my teachers, } you need meditation . Meditation is deep thinking. Illumination comes to deep thinkers.

6. Time: you require time . Daniel 2 :16-19 { Dan 2:16 Daniel rushed off and said to the king, "If you will just give me some time, I'll explain your dream."

Dan 2:17 Daniel returned home and told his three friends.

Dan 2:18 Then he said, "Pray that the God who rules from heaven will be merciful and explain this mystery, so that we and the others won't be put to death."

Dan 2:19 in a vision one night, Daniel was shown the dream and its meaning. Then he praised the God who rules from heaven :}It takes time to study. Those who don’t have time for the things of God won’t experience spiritual illumination.
