THE PROSPEROUS SEED

It is not all seed that leads to blessing and prosperity. When your seed is not prosperous, the problem is not with the seed. It was because of how it was sown.

How do we make our seed to be prosperous?

• Genesis 4 : 3-5 { Gen 4:3 One day, Cain gave part of his harvest to the LORD,

Gen 4:4 and Abel also gave an offering to the LORD. He killed the first-born lamb from one of his sheep and gave the LORD the best parts of it. The LORD was pleased with Abel and his offering,

Gen 4:5 but not with Cain and his offering. This made Cain so angry that he could not hide his feelings. } it is not all seed that God accepts. How then do we sow our seed that it can guarantee us harvest ?

Exodus 25 : 1-2{ Exo 25:1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Exo 25:2 Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring Me an offering. You shall take an offering from every man that gives it willingly with his heart. }

When you are sowing your seed to God, you must sow it willingly. Sow seed from the bottom of your heart. 2 Corinthian 8 : 12{ 2Co 8:12 For if the eagerness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, and not according to what one does not have. } so your offering from a will mind.

• 2 Corinthian 8: 12-14 { 2Co 8:12 For if the eagerness is present, it is acceptable according to what one has, and not according to what one does not have.

2Co 8:13 For it is not that others may have ease, but you trouble;

2Co 8:14 but by equality in the present time; your abundance for their need, that their abundance also may be for your need; so that there may be equality; } sow qualitatively. The quality of your seed determines the acceptability.

• 2 Corinthian 9: 7 { 2Co 9:7 Each one, as he purposes in his heart, let him give; not of grief, or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. } Sow your seed cheerfully. sow it with joy.
• Malachi 1 : 6-8{ Mal 1:6 A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If then I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My fear? says Jehovah of Hosts to you, O priests who despise My name. And you say, In what way have we despised Your name?

Mal 1:7 You offer defiled bread upon My altar; and you say, In what way have we defiled You? In your saying, The table of Jehovah, it is a thing to be despised.

Mal 1:8 And if you offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And if you offer the lame and the sick, is it not evil? Bring it now to your governor. Will he accept you, or lift up your face, says Jehovah of Hosts? } Sow honorably.

Luke 1 : 45 { Luk 1:45 The Lord has blessed you because you believed that he will keep his promise. }Believing bring the performer of the blessing that was proclaimed. It takes faith for blessing to be realized. Satan attacks you by showing your negative part.

There is nothing God can do for you outside your faith.

HOW DOES SATAN THROWS ARROWS OF DOUBT TO US?

• He brings negative report. Be careful of the things you hear

PROFITING BY REVELATION

Any revelation that does not produce testimony is not a profitable revelation Isaiah 55:11 { Isa 55:11 That's how it is with my words. They don't return to me without doing everything I send them to do.”}

How do we make our revelation to become manifestation? Hebrew 4:2 {Heb 4:2 we have heard the message, just as they did. But they failed to believe what they heard, and the message did not do them any good. } Faith is what makes revelation to become manifestation. It is faith that empowers the fulfillment of his word. Without faith God cannot do anything. When there is no faith God is handicap. That’s why faith is important in Christian Dom.

How do we mix God’s word with faith?

1. Speak the word 2 Corinthian 4 : 13 { 2Co 4:13 In the Scriptures it says, "I spoke because I had faith." We have that same kind of faith. So we speak} you mix the revelation of God with faith by speaking it. You don’t have to look like the revelation. If you don’t speak it, you don’t believe it. Speak it and declare it.
2. James 2: 20 { Jam 2:22 Now you see how Abraham's faith and deeds worked together. He proved that his faith was real by what he did. } with every revelation there is a demand from you. You are to take steps and act upon what God has told you. God will never do what you can do for you. There are two parts to revelation: God’s part and your own part. You mix revelation with faith by taking steps.
3. 1 timothy 1 :18 { 1Ti 1:18 Timothy, my son, the instructions I am giving you are based on what some prophets once said about you. If you follow these instructions, you will fight like a good soldier. } prophecies are like revelation. that god said something about you doesn’t make the devil to sleep and allow it to happen 1 Corinthian 16:9 { 1Co 16:9 because there is a wonderful opportunity for me to do some work here. But there are also many people who are against me. }

You don’t give up because of adversaries but you war a good warfare.

You fight a good fight of faith by praying a faith loaded prayer. You also wage warfare by taking a bold step. E.g David and goliath.

4. you must cultivate the attitude of rest. You fight the good fight of faith by knowing how to rest in God.

OBSTACLES OF SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION

• 2 Corinthian 3:14 { 2Co 3:14 The people were stubborn, and something still keeps them from seeing the truth when the Law is read. Only Christ can take away the covering that keeps them from seeing. }

2 Corinthian 4 : 3-4 { 2Co 4:3 If there is anything hidden about our message, it is hidden only to someone who is lost.

2Co 4:4 The god who rules this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers. They cannot see the light, which is the good news about our glorious Christ, who shows what God is like. }

The enemy does not want you to read the book { bible} because everything that makes up your life is in the book. As believer Satan has no right and power to blind our minds except we give him place. What the devil does is that he twist you till you give him place unconsciously.

What do we do that give the enemy room to block the light from coming to us? Luke 8: 4-15 { Luk 8:4 When a large crowd from several towns had gathered around Jesus, he told them this story:

Luk 8:5 A farmer went out to scatter seed in a field. While the farmer was doing it, some of the seeds fell along the road and were stepped on or eaten by birds.

Luk 8:6 Other seeds fell on rocky ground and started growing. But the plants did not have enough water and soon dried up.

Luk 8:7 Some other seeds fell where thornbushes grew up and choked the plants.

Luk 8:8 The rest of the seeds fell on good ground where they grew and produced a hundred times as many seeds. When Jesus had finished speaking, he said, "If you have ears, pay attention!"

Luk 8:9 Jesus' disciples asked him what the story meant.

Luk 8:10 So he answered: I have explained the secrets about God's kingdom to you, but for others I can only use stories. These people look, but they don't see, and they hear, but they don't understand.

Luk 8:11 This is what the story means: The seed is God's message,

Luk 8:12 and the seeds that fell along the road are the people who hear the message. But the devil comes and snatches the message out of their hearts, so that they will not believe and be saved.

Luk 8:13 The seeds that fell on rocky ground are the people who gladly hear the message and accept it. But they don't have deep roots, and they believe only for a little while. As soon as life gets hard, they give up.

Luk 8:14 The seeds that fell among the thornbushes are also people who hear the message. But they are so eager for riches and pleasures that they never produce anything.

Luk 8:15 Those seeds that fell on good ground are the people who listen to the message and keep it in good and honest hearts. They last and produce a harvest. } whenever you gain a revelation from the word of God , that is when it can bring forth fruit i.e if you get the revelation , it will bring fruit.

The devil always target those by the way side to take the word from them. Those by the way side are those that lack concentration.

Don’t allow devil to distract you. Distraction is easy when you’re by the way side.

• Hardened heart : before God can do anything in your life , you must change and soften your heart. God doesn’t speak to those whose heart are hardened heart is a stubborn heart. A hardened heart does not consider the act of God. God will never show you is word when you hardened your heart against is word. It doesn’t matter the prophecy that goes out, it will not work for a hardened heart.

Luke 8 : 14 { Luk 8:14 The seeds that fell among the thorn bushes are also people who hear the message. But they are so eager for riches and pleasures that they never produce anything. } it is possible for the riches and pleasure of this life to block the word of God. The pleasure of life will blind your access to the word of God.

What do we have to do if we must be like good ground ?

1. Mathew 11 : 28 -29{ Mat 11:28 If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest.

Mat 11:29 Take the yoke I give you. Put it on your shoulders and learn from me. I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest. } when you are coming to church, come with attitude of a learner

2. Come with an open heart: when your heart is opened , it becomes easier for God to reach you. Anytime you are reading the word of God , be open hearted.

3. learn to work in the word of God, to trust God, commit every step to God. When you begin to trust God to provide your need , you will be able to focus on his word.

THE BIBLE SENSE OF DELIVERANCE

The day of salvation is the day of deliverance .Galatians 5: 1 {Gal 5:1 Christ has set us free! This means we are really free. Now hold on to your freedom and don't ever become slaves of the Law again. }

How does believer get entangled in the yoke of bondage after Christ have set us free?

• john 8:32-34 {Joh 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Joh 8:33 They answered, "We are Abraham's children! We have never been anyone's slaves. How can you say we will be set free?"

Joh 8:34 Jesus replied: I tell you for certain that anyone who sins is a slave of sin! }

Sin is what makes believer entangle to bondage .

Sin gives devil power over you. Sin opens the door for oppression. The remedy to sin is confession. 1 john 1:8-9 { 1Jo 1:8 If we say that we have not sinned, we are fooling ourselves, and the truth isn't in our hearts.

1Jo 1:9 But if we confess our sins to God, he can always be trusted to forgive us and take our sins away. }

Sin makes you vulnerable to satanic attack.

• Fear: Romans 8:15 { Rom 8:15 God's Spirit doesn't make us slaves who are afraid of him. Instead, we become his children and call him our Father. }

Fear put people in bondage. Proverbs 29:25{ Pro 29:25 Don't fall into the trap of being a coward-- trust the LORD, and you will be safe. } Fear is a trap of the devil. For God has not given us the spirit of fear.

How do you handle fear? The opposite of fear is faith and trust in God. Trust and faith in God is the solution for fear. Faith and fear depends on what you focus on

Depression : Is the lack of joy .Deuteronomy 28: 47-48{ Deu 28:47 If the LORD makes you wealthy, but you don't joyfully worship and honor him,

Deu 28:48 he will send enemies to attack you and make you their slaves. Then you will live in poverty with nothing to eat, drink, or wear and your owners will work you to death. } Depression will always lead to oppression. Don’t let what is happening in the world makes you depressed. Anything that targets your joy is targeting you. What is the remedy for depression. In everything give thanks always rejoice in the lord.

ENHANCING YOUR SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION BY PASTOR WOLE SAMUEL

Fasting is one of the way that the lord use to grant us access to the deep things. fasting fine-tune your spirit man in the same frequency to the frequency of God. 1 Corinthian 2: 12,14 {1Co 2:12 But God has given us his Spirit. That's why we don't think the same way that the people of this world think. That's also why we can recognize the blessings that God has given us. 1Co 2:14 That's why only someone who has God's Spirit can understand spiritual blessings. Anyone who doesn't have God's Spirit thinks these blessings are foolish. }

Revelation are spiritual discerned and a natural man cannot understand. Fasting enhanced your spirit, fasting makes your spirit man hypersensitive.

Fasting makes it easier for you to discern spiritual things.

1. praying in the holy ghost Jude 1 : 20{ Jud 1:20 Dear friends, keep building on the foundation of your most holy faith, as the Holy Spirit helps you to pray. }

1 Corinthian 14 : 2 { 1Co 14:2 If you speak languages that others don't know, God will understand what you are saying, though no one else will know what you mean. You will be talking about mysteries that only the Spirit understands. } speak in tongues intensively.

Praise and Worship: Allows you access into his presence Isaiah 12: 3 { Isa 12:3 With great joy, you people will get water from the well of victory. } It takes joy to get inspiration. Take time to praise the lord because it can take care of things you want to pray for.

REQUIREMENT OF SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION

There are requirement to have access to what is in the book. The book is not open for everybody, the book is only open for those that meets the requirement . Many of us don’t know the things we desire.

There are several requirements which include :

1. Salvation: John 3: 3 {Joh 3:3 Jesus replied, "I tell you for certain that you must be born from above before you can see God's kingdom!" } until a man is born again he has no access to deep things .
2. 2timothy 2: 19,21{ 2Ti 2:19 But the foundation that God has laid is solid. On it is written, "The Lord knows who his people are. So everyone who worships the Lord must turn away from evil."

2Ti 2:21 That's also how it is with people. The ones who stop doing evil and make themselves pure will become special. Their lives will be holy and pleasing to their Master, and they will be able to do all kinds of good deeds. } It is not enough to be born again, you need to fear God , do what pleases him . God does not show secrete to those who don’t fear him. Your access to spiritual illumination is purity.

3. Psalm 25 : 9 { Psa 25:9 You lead humble people to do what is right and to stay on your path. } meekness means submissiveness. James 1:21 { Jam 1:21 You must stop doing anything immoral or evil. Instead be humble and accept the message that is planted in you to save you. } If you’re not teachable, you are not a candidate to spiritual illumination. Moses knew the way of God because of his meekness. Be submissive, be teachable and God will receive the secrete things to you.
4. It is what you desire that God gives unto you. Spiritual hunger is a requirement of illumination. God desire to give inspiration to those who have a hunger for it.
5. Study: Revelation comes to those who study the word of God. Study means reading and researching the word. It is those that search scripture that find light. Illumination is not for people who are empty of the word of God.

Psalm 119 : 99 { Psa 119:99 Thinking about your teachings gives me better understanding than my teachers, } you need meditation . Meditation is deep thinking. Illumination comes to deep thinkers.

6. Time: you require time . Daniel 2 :16-19 { Dan 2:16 Daniel rushed off and said to the king, "If you will just give me some time, I'll explain your dream."

Dan 2:17 Daniel returned home and told his three friends.

Dan 2:18 Then he said, "Pray that the God who rules from heaven will be merciful and explain this mystery, so that we and the others won't be put to death."

Dan 2:19 in a vision one night, Daniel was shown the dream and its meaning. Then he praised the God who rules from heaven :}It takes time to study. Those who don’t have time for the things of God won’t experience spiritual illumination.

BENEFIT OF SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION {PART 1}.

1.It empowers your faith to produce. Psalm 119: 18 { Psa 119:18 Open my mind and let me discover the wonders of your Law. }

There is something you need to see in the law. You can doubt what you hear but you can’t doubt what you see.

The principal benefit of opening of book or spiritual illumination is that it boost your faith. Romans 10 : 17 { Rom 10:17 No one can have faith without hearing the message about Christ.}

If your faith is weak , it is because your revelation about the word of God is weak.Romans 4 : 19-25{ Rom 4:19 Abraham's faith never became weak, not even when he was nearly a hundred years old. He knew that he was almost dead and that his wife Sarah could not have children.

Rom 4:20 But Abraham never doubted or questioned God's promise. His faith made him strong, and he gave all the credit to God.

Rom 4:21 Abraham was certain that God could do what he had promised.

Rom 4:22 So God accepted him,

Rom 4:23 just as we read in the Scriptures. But these words were not written only for Abraham.

Rom 4:24 They were written for us, since we will also be accepted because of our faith in God, who raised our Lord Jesus to life.

Rom 4:25 God gave Jesus to die for our sins, and he raised him to life, so that we would be made acceptable to God.}

God shows you things in his word, to fully persuade you. Spiritual illumination strengthens your faith . You only pray for your eyes to open.

1. Victory: 1 john 5:4 { 1Jo 5:4 Every child of God can defeat the world, and our faith is what gives us this victory. }

What revelation does is that it builds your confidence. The level of revelation you have determines the level of victory you will have.

BENEFIT OF SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION {PART 2}

What is illumination?

Illumination means light or a place that light comes from .

There are so many benefit of spiritual illumination which is otherwise known as revelation of the word of God.

1. Supernatural peace : is a peace that is from above . at the birth of Jesus , peace came to earth Isaiah 9 ; 6-7 { Isa 9:6 A child has been born for us. We have been given a son who will be our ruler. His names will be Wonderful Advisor and Mighty God, Eternal Father and Prince of Peace.

Isa 9:7 His power will never end; peace will last forever. He will rule David's kingdom and make it grow strong. He will always rule with honesty and justice. The LORD All-Powerful will make certain that all of this is done.}

The day you receive Jesus is the day you receive peace. When peace is lacking, destiny is in pieces.

What must I do to enjoy supernatural peace?

• You must be born again .
• You must pursue the knowledge of God 2peter 1:2{ 2Pe 1:2 I pray that God will be kind to you and will let you live in perfect peace! May you keep learning more and more about God and our Lord Jesus} It is what you know that will give you peace. Isaiah 48 : 17-18 { Isa 48:17 with this message: People of Israel, I am the holy LORD God, the one who rescues you. For your own good, I teach you, and I lead you along the right path.

Isa 48:18 How I wish that you had obeyed my commands! Your success and good fortune would then have overflowed like a flooding river. }

• Trust in him at all times

2. Divine intervention: exodus 14: 13 {Exo 14:13 But Moses answered, "Don't be afraid! Be brave, and you will see the LORD save you today. These Egyptians will never bother you again.}BY PASTOR AUDU

BENEFIT OF SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION {PART 3}

Genesis 1: 3 {Gen 1:3 God said, "I command light to shine!" And light started shining. }

The first word that comes out from mouth of God is let there be light. It takes love for you to know the heart of God. Without the voice of God, there is no revelation.

Spirituality is the foundation of revelation. Everyone has to locate his or her light. It is your responsibility to keep your light glowing.

First benefit of spiritual illumination is cleansing or purity Ephesians 5: 26 { Eph 5:26 He made the church holy by the power of his word, and he made it pure by washing it with water. }

The word of God cleanses you and purifies you. John 17 : 17 { Joh 17:17 Your word is the truth. So let this truth make them completely yours. }

It is only the word of God that can cleanse. Psalm 119 : 9 { Psa 119:9 Young people can live a clean life by obeying your word. }

The only thing that can purify us is the word of God.

How does revelation bring cleansing?

• It makes you see glory ahead and when you see the glory , you will avoid every obstacles { sin}
• Revelation talks about knowledge. Knowledge brings information and when you are informed you hardly get involved in sin.

Second benefit of spiritual illumination is wisdom : psalm 19:7 { Psa 19:7 The Law of the LORD is perfect; it gives us new life. His teachings last forever, and they give wisdom to ordinary people. }

The more the word of God you tap into , the wiser you become}. It is the word of God that makes one to be knowledgeable.

Luke 7: 35 { Luk 7:35 Yet Wisdom is shown to be right by what its followers do. }

It is the word of God that grants wisdom to a man . the revelation of God is the wisdom of God.

BENEFIT OF SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION {PART 4}

1. FREEDOM { LIBERTY } : It means being a domain that is free. John 8 : 32 { Joh 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." } knowledge of the truth guarantee your freedom . the knowing of the truth is the only escape route for the child of God. God’s word is is the truth and as a children of we need the knowledge of truth . what gives you freedom is the knowledge of the truth.

Until you see what God has for you, the purpose of God won’t to fulfillment.

The book has been open , all you need to knowis the knowledge about the truth. The word of God is light luke 4: 16-17{ Luk 4:16 Jesus went back to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and as usual he went to the meeting place on the Sabbath. When he stood up to read from the Scriptures,

Luk 4:17 he was given the book of Isaiah the prophet. He opened it and read,

Luk 4:18 "The Lord's Spirit has come to me, because he has chosen me to tell the good news to the poor. The Lord has sent me to announce freedom for prisoners, to give sight to the blind, to free everyone who suffers, }

The knowledge of the truth is what makes free. Every revelation has the knowledge of the truth. Knowledge is a free gift of God to all that are redeemed.

2. Joy : Jeremiah 15:16-17{ Jer 15:15 You can see how I suffer insult after insult, all because of you, LORD. Don't be so patient with my enemies; take revenge on them before they kill me.

Jer 15:16 When you spoke to me, I was glad to obey, because I belong to you, the LORD All-Powerful. } Joy is not for anyone who hasn’t discover the truth it is light that makes life joyful. It is only joyful people that discover the knowledge of God.

AGENT OF SPIRITUAL ILLUMINATION

1. 1 Corinthian 9-13 { 1Co 2:9 But it is just as the Scriptures say, "What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!"

1Co 2:10 God's Spirit has shown you everything. His Spirit finds out everything, even what is deep in the mind of God.

1Co 2:11 You are the only one who knows what is in your own mind, and God's Spirit is the only one who knows what is in God's mind.

1Co 2:12 But God has given us his Spirit. That's why we don't think the same way that the people of this world think. That's also why we can recognize the blessings that God has given us.

1Co 2:13 Every word we speak was taught to us by God's Spirit, not by human wisdom. And this same Spirit helps us teach spiritual things to spiritual people. }

When the spirit of God shows you word in scripture illumination comes. The Holy Ghost is God’s agent of illumination comes. John 16: 12 – 13 { Joh 16:12 I have much more to say to you, but right now it would be more than you could understand.

Joh 16:13 The Spirit shows what is true and will come and guide you into the full truth. The Spirit doesn't speak on his own. He will tell you only what he has heard from me, and he will let you know what is going to happen. }

You cannot be illuminated without the help of the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, bible will be covered. The Holy Spirit is the one which is responsible for spiritual illumination. When you want to read the word of God engage the Holy Spirit.

2. Acts 8 : 29 – 40 { Act 8:29 The Spirit told Philip to catch up with the chariot.

Act 8:30 Philip ran up close and heard the man reading aloud from the book of Isaiah. Philip asked him, "Do you understand what you are reading?"

Act 8:31 The official answered, "How can I understand unless someone helps me?" He then invited Philip to come up and sit beside him.

Act 8:32 The man was reading the passage that said, "He was led like a sheep on its way to be killed. He was silent as a lamb whose wool is being cut off, and he did not say a word.

Act 8:33 He was treated like a nobody and did not receive a fair trial. How can he have children, if his life is snatched away?"

Act 8:34 The official said to Philip, "Tell me, was the prophet talking about himself or about someone else?"

Act 8:35 So Philip began at this place in the Scriptures and explained the good news about Jesus.

Act 8:36 As they were going along the road, they came to a place where there was some water. The official said, "Look! Here is some water. Why can't I be baptized?"

Act 8:37 (SEE 8:36)

Act 8:38 He ordered the chariot to stop. Then they both went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.

Act 8:39 After they had come out of the water, the Lord's Spirit took Philip away. The official never saw him again, but he was very happy as he went on his way.

Act 8:40 Philip later appeared in Azotus. He went from town to town, all the way to Caesarea, telling people about Jesus.}

The second agents are anointed men of God. If you want to enjoy spiritual revelation you must expose yourself to anointed teaching of anointed messenger.

3. Psalm 73 : 14 – 18 { Psa 73:14 I am sick all day, and I am punished each morning.

Psa 73:15 If I had said evil things, I would not have been loyal to your people.

Psa 73:16 It was hard for me to understand all this!

Psa 73:17 Then I went to your temple, and there I understood what will happen to my enemies.

Psa 73:18 You will make them stumble, never to get up again.}

Zion is a place of revelation. There is high of having understanding in church because it is God’s presence.

Zion is a place where God gives lecture to people.

God doesn’t speak to those who don’t have time to come to his house. God speaks in Zion; he opens the ear of people in Zion.

WEEP NOT FOR THE BOOK IS OPENED

Revelation 5 : 1-5 { Rev 5:1 In the right hand of the one sitting on the throne I saw a scroll that had writing on the inside and on the outside. And it was sealed in seven places.

Rev 5:2 I saw a mighty angel ask with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?"

Rev 5:3 No one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or see inside it.

Rev 5:4 I cried hard because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or see inside it.

Rev 5:5 Then one of the elders said to me, "Stop crying and look! The one who is called both the 'Lion from the Tribe of Judah' and 'King David's Great Descendant' has won the victory. He will open the book and its seven seals." }

The opening of the book also implies the unfolding of the word.

• When the word of God comes to a situation, solution will come.
• Whenever there is a revelation of the word of God weeping comes to an end.
• What the revelation of the word of God does is that it delivers solution to you. John 8: 32 { Joh 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." }

The revelation to the word of God which is the truth is the answers to the question of life.

Discovery of the truth reveals solution. the appearance of light is the disappearance of darkness. John 1: 1-5 { Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the one who is called the Word. The Word was with God and was truly God.

Joh 1:2 From the very beginning the Word was with God.

Joh 1:3 And with this Word, God created all things. Nothing was made without the Word. Everything that was created

Joh 1:4 received its life from him, and his life gave light to everyone.

Joh 1:5 The light keeps shining in the dark, and darkness has never put it out. }

When the word of God gain entrance into your life, weeping stops. Christianity is not religion, it is light.

WHAT MUST YOU DO TO ENJOY THE LIGHT IN THE WORD?

John 5 : 39 { Joh 5:39 You search the Scriptures, because you think you will find eternal life in them. The Scriptures tell about me,} what you don’t search for, you will never find.

You don’t pray revelation, you search revelation. Search the scripture you will find answer and your weeping will stop. Knowledge and revelation does not jump on person.

THE POWER OF THANKS GIVEN

There is power in thanks giving. You don’t know what you miss when you don’t give thanks to God. When you give thanks to God , power is made manifested to you.

For every prayer to be answered you need to give thanks to God. Every prayer needs to start with thanks giving.

What happened when we give thanks?

1. Thanks giving make power available for multiplication. Thanks is what makes a man to increase. For everything that must increase, we must give thanks to God. Anything you don’t give thanks for will depreciate. The only way you can provoke increase is to give thanks.

What is your hand is good enough if only you can learn to give thanks.

Until you are grateful, you can’t be graceful. When you are grateful, you enjoy the grace of God. Psalm 103 : 1-2 { Psa 103:1 (By David.) With all my heart I praise the LORD, and with all that I am I praise his holy name!

Psa 103:2 With all my heart I praise the LORD! I will never forget how kind he has been.}

Whenever you’re faced with Goliath in your life, give thanks to God.

2. Thanks giving generate enough power to deliver miracles in our hand. John 11 : 41-43 { Joh 11:41 After the stone had been rolled aside, Jesus looked up toward heaven and prayed, "Father, I thank you for answering my prayer.

Joh 11:42 I know that you always answer my prayers. But I said this, so that the people here would believe that you sent me."

Joh 11:43 When Jesus had finished praying, he shouted, "Lazarus, come out!" }

The best way to experience miracle is to give thanks.

3.Thanks giving brings about change of position. If your position must be changed, you must thank him for where you are now. If you don’t thank him for where you are now , you will remain at the same spot. Number 11 : 1 { Num 11:1 One day the Israelites started complaining about their troubles. The LORD heard them and became so angry that he destroyed the outer edges of their camp with fire. }

ENEMY OF PRAISE { PART 1}

If you are joyful you will be praiseful . Devil tries as much as possible to to attack our joy there by reducing our act of praise to God.

How does devil attack our joy :

1. Hopelessness: is the arrow the devil uses to attack our joy . every time you become hopeless , you become sorrowful , when you become hopeless , you become helpless . when hope is lost , joy is lost .

How to overcome hopelessness : don’t listen to the people . don’t let them tell you that you have no hope . when devil comes to tell you things that are not working tell him God has not finished with you . tell him you know the thought of God towards you . Jeremiah 29 : 11 { I will bless you with a future filled with hope--a future of success, not of suffering.}

2. Offences : Rom 16:17 { My friends, I beg you to watch out for anyone who causes trouble and divides the church by refusing to do what all of you were taught. Stay away from them! }

Offences means to be angry, to be hurt. When you’re hurt, you can’t be joyful.

You can’t have joy when you keep offences. The cure for offences is patience. Don’t be quick to read to read meaning to things. Overlook transgression proverb 19 : 11 { Don't be a fool and quickly lose your temper-- be sensible and patient. }

3. love of money: it causes sorrow. 1 timothy 6 : 10 { The love of money causes all kinds of trouble. Some people want money so much that they have given up their faith and caused themselves a lot of pain.} the cure for love of money is to love God . money is your servant.

ENEMIES OF PRAISE {PART 2}

1. Number one enemies we’re going to be looking at is holding on to past. Isaiah 43 : 18-19{ Isa 43:18 Forget what happened long ago! Don't think about the past.

Isa 43:19 I am creating something new. There it is! Do you see it? I have put roads in deserts, streams in thirsty lands. }

John 8: 3-11 {Joh 8:3 The Pharisees and the teachers of the Law of Moses brought in a woman who had been caught in bed with a man who wasn't her husband. They made her stand in the middle of the crowd.

Joh 8:4 Then they said, "Teacher, this woman was caught sleeping with a man who isn't her husband.

Joh 8:5 The Law of Moses teaches that a woman like this should be stoned to death! What do you say?"

Joh 8:6 They asked Jesus this question, because they wanted to test him and bring some charge against him. But Jesus simply bent over and started writing on the ground with his finger.

Joh 8:7 They kept on asking Jesus about the woman. Finally, he stood up and said, "If any of you have never sinned, then go ahead and throw the first stone at her!"

Joh 8:8 Once again he bent over and began writing on the ground.

Joh 8:9 The people left one by one, beginning with the oldest. Finally, Jesus and the woman were there alone.

Joh 8:10 Jesus stood up and asked her, "Where is everyone? Isn't there anyone left to accuse you?"

Joh 8:11 "No sir," the woman answered. Then Jesus told her, "I am not going to accuse you either. You may go now, but don't sin anymore."

Joh 8:12 Once again Jesus spoke to the people. This time he said, "I am the light for the world! Follow me, and you won't be walking in the dark. You will have the light that gives life." }

2.Eye mindedness: is the condition where you see everything below expectation. Psalm 131 : 1-3 { Psa 131:1 (A song by David for worship.) I am not conceited, LORD, and I don't waste my time on impossible schemes.

Psa 131:2 But I have learned to feel safe and satisfied, just like a young child on its mother's lap.

Psa 131:3 People of Israel, you must trust the LORD now and forever. }

Eye mindedness is a great enemy of praise because you will never see anything good in what God has done.
